Genesis 1:14-15
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky, to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth

Why?

Why is not always easy to answer. You have to know Tracy and I a bit to understand. Generally, we hold a passion for the things we do. Those that know us, might say we are a bit Obsessive Compulsive! I guess we can't disagree with that.

What it all boils down to, is that Christmas is the most anticipated time of year. There is always excitement and hope. It is special. It holds for both of us, fond memories of growing up, special times with family, and the traditions that we came to realize.

Individually, we both had a life long passion decorating for Christmas. Combining our decorations was pretty easy, as MORE is always better, right?

For the two of us, it started out gradually when we got married in 1997, and built our current home.  "The Display" as it has come to be known as, has grown each year since then. The house provides a HUGE canvas, both inside and outside to allow us the creativity we desire. We each have our own "specialty" if you will. Tracy, it's sewing, inside displays and lights. For Mark, it's lights and Christmas Carols, a techie, and some would say, gadget geek. So naturally when Mark found Planet Christmas, and some of the other Christmas forums, Light animation was discovered. When that happened, the outside really started to take on a life of it's own.

Lastly, we really think it's cool ourselves, and we really get excited about how it all comes together. But getting back to basics, Christmas is all about giving and sharing. This allows us to share with everyone our way of celebrating Christmas.

Merry Christmas!
